Bring some rain gear with your sunglasses today

The morning will start out wet , with a wetter midday giving way to a lot of heat.
The National Weather Service predicts a slight chance of showers before 7a.m. today, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. After that, look for temperatures in the lower 90s in most locations, with slightly cooler weather moving in for the weekend.

Airfest should go well, with a slight chance for an hour-shower or quick thunderstorm Saturday. Otherwise look for partly cloudy conditions and highs in the middle 80s Saturday and Sunday.

Beyond the weekend: Another dose of warm air moves in Tuesday and Wednesday. Several model solutions give the potential for more 90-degree weather. As this happens, our atmosphere may be unstable enough to pop a few thunderstorms through the midweek.
